Current full-time students or students planning to be enrolled full-time in September 2006 in any university or college in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Republic of Ireland, New Zealand or Australia. If you do not see your university in our list you can suggest one.
If we reach our goal of collecting one million dollars the money will be distributed to both the top 50 females and the top 50 males in the following way:- 1st place - $50,000
- 2nd place - $20,000
- 3rd place - $10,000
- From 4th to 50th place - $8,400
If you are one of the lucky winners of the scholarship, we will require you to provide proof that you are a full-time student at a university in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Republic of Ireland, New Zealand or Australia. You will have to send us:- A photocopy of your student card
- A sealed letter from your university, stating that you are a full-time student enrolled at the university you specified in your profile.

Yes, it is absolutely free. Although you are more then welcome to donate or invite possible sponsors.
There are a number of ways to increase exposure to your application. You can invite your friends, parents, classmates and encourage them to vote for you. You can also leave testimonials or comments on other student's applications, thus showing you on their application, or you can simply invite sponsors to donate and get a big "Thank You" icon with a star next to your picture. As well, some students make flyers with their URLs and spread it throughout their school.
It adds a personal touch to your profile and can help draw voter's attention.
No. We will verify all the winners, and if the picture on your profile is not you, you will not receive the scholarship.
Yes. But if we notice that the new picture is not of the same person as the old one your profile will be deleted immediately.
If you are one of the lucky winners, we will verify your identity with your university.
If you win, we will require you to have your university send us proof of enrollment as a full-time student at the university specified in your application.
No, once you have submitted your essay it will remain the same until the deadline of applications.
No, as with the applications your punch line will remain the same, so choose your words wisely!

Follow these steps to remove your appication from the site:
1. Log in to your account using your username/password.
2. Click on the "View your application" link located at the top of the left vertical menu.
3. Scroll down a bit. Just above your photo there is a link called "Delete My Application..."
Votes are not tabulated instantly, they are counted approximately every hour. Check your essay rating again later.
